Aromatic Scentsations Mineral Cosmetics are available in loose powder foundations, multi purpose powders, Shimmerings, blush, lipstick, and finishing powder, concealers,and correctors all developed to give you a youthful glow and velvet soft looking skin. You only need to use a very small amount for full coverage.

 

Place a paper towel or wet wipe on your counter before beginning, to aid with clean up. Always apply mineral makeup to a clean dry face. If you are using moisturizers, creams, lotions or serums, make sure they have been completely absorbed into your skin before applying your make up.

 

 

Foundation: Put a small amount of the foundation powder into a small dish or the lid to your container. Using a kabuki or flat bronzer brush, swirl your brush in the dish into it. Tap your brush handle end on a hard surface, to settle the powder into the brush head. Gently but firmly spread the powder onto your clean dry skin. For any problem areas you do not need to use a separate concealer. You can use a taklon brush to apply small amounts of foundation powder to the problem areas and blend well. If you skin is flaky or dry try the velvet plush formula which contains vitamin E. If you prefer to use a cream foundation, you can simply blend a little of your foundation powder with a nature lotion or cream base. To create the cream foundation do the following; moisturize your face as usual scoop a small amount of powder and add a drop of moisturizer, lotion base or aloe vera juice. Blend until smooth and creamy. Use a cosmetic sponge to apply, you can use a sponge to create a nice even spread right underneath your eyelashes.

 

Blush: There are several types of brushes you can use to apply blush, try some different ones to see which feels the most natural for you. The are angled brushes, fan brushes, flat top bronzer or powder domes. Blush should be applied to look as natural as possible. To start use a very light amount. Apply to your cheeks and brush forward from your hairline. The largest amount of blush should be in this area,though again very light and natural looking. Bronzers should be applied in a similar manner.

 

Body Shimmer: To apply use a powder dome brush, cotton balls or a flat top bronzer brush. Lightly pick up powder from your bowl or container. Lightly dust onto your shoulders, neck and breasts if you have cleavage showing.

 

Eye Shadow: Use an eye shadow brush, dipping just the tip into you loose powder,tap the brush on the side of the container to drop any excess back into the container. Gently brush onto your lids,crease or under your eyebrows. Make sure to blend until you get a natural look. You can apply shadow in different ways to achieve different looks.Mineral makeup can be blended to get just the look you want. You can layer several colors or just one; you can create the illusion of drawing your eyes closer together, bring deep set eye out, what ever you want to do. Try putting a deeper color in the crease of your eye and feathering the color up, so that it blends, again using a very minimal amount, if it's too light you can add a little bit more. Now apply a complimentary lighter color on your eyelids and blend lightly into the deeper color in the crease.

 

Liquid Eyeliner: You can create liquid eyeliner by placing a very small amount of the powder into the container lid or a small bowl. Moisten a liner brush with water or aloe vera juice and dip it into the powder, mix the powder and liquid together until smooth. Carefully apply to upper and/or lower eyelids as close to your lashes as you can.

 

Lip Color: Place a small amount of the dry powder into container lid or small bowl. Put some clear lip gloss or lip balm onto your lip brush. Dip brush into your loose powder and apply to your lips.

 

Concealer and Oil Control Primer:  Aromatic Scentsations Concealer comes in a beige matte finish, you can however add a little bit of your foundation color to blend your concealer into the perfect shade for you skin color. Our Oil Control Primer is in a very light shade, which again can be blended with a little bit of foundation color to get a darker shade.  The Oil Control Primer is worn underneath your foundation to absorb any excess skin oils.

 

Multi Purpose Powder:  Aromatic Scentsations Multi Purpose Powders are an amazing product!  You can use these powders just about anywhere you'd like.  Use them as an eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip color (unless otherwise noted), blush and even nail color.

 

Nail Color: Start with a good quality clear nail polish. Dip your brush into the clear polish, then into the loose powder and paint onto your nails. Or if you prefer you can add a little of the powder to your clear polish bottle, shake well. You now have a custom nail polish.
